Red Rock Mining's mining portfolio consists of an operating license in the Ouarzazate region and 35 exploration permits, with the majority distributed among the Souss-Massa, Guelmim Oued Noun, and Draa-Tafilalet regions.
Geologically, all these permits are associated with domes in the Anti-Atlas mountain range (Siroua, Ighrem, Kerdous, Tagragra d’Akka, Bas Draa). This area is mainly composed of Precambrian terrains exposed as domes covered by discordant Paleozoic-age series.
The Anti-Atlas mountain range is considered a metallogenic province par excellence. Apart from phosphate, 80% of Moroccan mining deposits are located there.
The diversity of mineral substances and the significant mining potential, especially for copper, make the Moroccan Anti-Atlas a priority target for exploration and research of this substance.
It is with this perspective that Red Rock Mining has directed its focus towards this Anti-Atlas mountain range, aiming to cover the main domes.
