Red Rock Mining

Our mining heritage

Red Rock Mining currently holds:

  • 1 operating license in the Ouarzazate region (Idelsan).

  • 30+ exploration permits distributed across the Souss-Massa, Guelmim Oued Noun, and Drâa-Tafilalet regions.

From a geological standpoint, these permits cover the main inliers of the Anti-Atlas range (Siroua, Ighrem, Kerdous, Tagragra d’Akka, Bas Drâa).
This mountain chain, composed of Precambrian terrains overlain by Paleozoic series, is one of Morocco’s major metallogenic zones, concentrating nearly 80% of the country’s mining deposits, excluding phosphates.

The diversity of resources and the strong copper potential make the Anti-Atlas a priority area for exploration, which explains Red Rock Mining’s strategic focus on this region.
